UNCHAIN is one of the most important cryptocurrency conferences in the world and it’s coming to Berlin, Germany. It’s also one of the smallest. With a 500 attendee limit, chances are you won’t be getting in. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t pay attention. On the contrary, it means that you should. Those 500 members are the founders and CEOs of the cryptocurrency organisations that are remaking the world.

We celebrate Bitcoin and blockchain real-world solutions with an eclectic state of the art event approach, said UNCHAIN founder, Oskar Giese. Our main goal is to bring on business innovations between crypto entrepreneurs, investors and traditional economy leaders from all over the globe – by discussing and exploring the full potential of a decentralized economy.

So for all of us on the outside looking in, what does UNCHAIN look like?

What Will the Conference Look Like?

The conference, which was announced in March, is taking place on June 14 and 15. Tickets are available for between €600 (for Early Standard Ticket which includes both days) and €1800 (for the Experience Ticket, which also includes dinner and riverboat cruise). You can definitely save some money by buying your tickets with Bitcoin, as the Early Crypto Community Ticket costs 0.1BTC (which is about €350).

There are over thirty speakers signed up from more than twenty countries. Those include for example: founder of TREZOR, Alena Vranova, lead maintainer of Monero, Riccardo Spagni, economist Hans-Werner Sinn, co-founder and CEO of Blockchain Academy Brazil, Rosine Kadamani, Coinsilium co-founder and CEO, Eddy Travia, Bitnation founder, Susanne Tempelhof, and Blockstream software engineer, Christian Decker.

Topics on the table for discussion include the present and future of cryptocurrency. That means evolving technology and changing legal atmospheres. It means use cases of existing technology and proofs of principle for novel methods. There will also be talks for investors to learn about strategies and best practices.

The two-day conference is split into two main themes. The first day will focus on future opportunities and obstacles to crypto. Day two will focus on the current changing world of cryptocurrency.

Of course, the conference won’t just be a series of lectures. There will also be networking opportunities for attendees and speakers to share thoughts.

How to Prepare and Watch

While you’re looking forward to more news from the upcoming conference, you can catch up on last year. The keynote and a few of the talks are on the UNCHAIN website. Last year’s speakers included David Schwartz of Ripple, Maria Jones of Cointelegraph, Meinhard Benn of SatshiPay and Diego Gutiérrez Zaldívar of RSK Labs.

The results of this conference might not be immediate, but they will definitely be significant. UNCHAIN conference is a major opportunity for cryptocurrency influencers, developers and educators to meet and greet. Be on the lookout for changing ideas and philosophies following the event.
